Bluestone Furniture & Upholstery is a family owned and run business specialising in high-end local manufacturing, from antique furniture restoration, contemporary bespoke and custom-made designer pieces, to large commercial projects. Founded in 1997 in a shopfront in Hawthorn, David Lindrea has grown his business from a small, three-man team to a thriving company with 20 staff, recently relocated to larger premises in Blackburn.

Through word of mouth, working with well recognised designers, decorators, architects and builders, Bluestone Furniture & Upholstery has earned its reputation as one of Melbourne’s most trusted and reliable local manufacturers creating everything from small bespoke pieces to fully fitting out bars and restaurants. We have been involved in the industry for many years and have gained an understanding of the best practices in order to create truly outstanding pieces. We have experience in creating a range of upholstery products including chairs, sofas, ottomans, bedheads and bases.
